Dr. Huaning Niu is a Principle Engineer for Wireless Standards in Technology, Systems Architecture & Client Group (TSCG) at Intel Corporation. She received her Ph.D. in wireless communication from University of Washington in 2004.
Dr. Niu contributed extensively to global wireless standard, including 802.11n, 802.11ac, 802.11ad, 4G WiMax, 4G LTE and 5G NR radio interface and network architecture design. Dr. Niu also contributed to 4G RAN re-architecture and cloud RAN development. Most recently, Dr. Niu has led Intel’s MulteFire standard and technology development.
